Hey Lightning Seniors and recent Alum of Lapeer Community Schools!
Student loans to assist you with college costs are available. $2,000 loans at 5% interest are available annually for up to four years through our non-profit community organization. Applications may be found in the LHS counseling office and you may contact us directly at lapeerloanfund@gmail.com.
Scholarships will be presented at LHS Honors Assembly in June. Each year, 10- $1,000 Community Scholarships are given. Additionally, several Community-funded scholarships are also presented: Bill DesJardins Memorial, Clarke Adams Memorial, Lapeer Elks, and others. There are new scholarships being written now to be offered for the first time in 2026.
Contact your school counseling office to apply for these scholarships as well as to find our more about a low interest student loan, whose interest does not apply until 6 months after leaving college. Reach out to us directly with any questions. lapeerloanfund@gmail.com
