Lapeer Community Scholarship and Student Loan Fund is a Lapeer Community founded and funded non-profit.
Ten 1,000 Community scholarships will again be awarded to Lapeer grads who have shown community and school service, academic achievement, good citizenship and are members of the Lapeer Community Schools for at least two years. Additionally, The Rod Parsch Memorial Scholarship given in tribute to the Bank President who was instrumental in the development of the Lapeer Community Scholarship and Student Loan Fund is in its 5th decade of annual awards. New to our scholarships are the Lapeer Elks Scholarship and the Bill DesJardins Memorial Scholarship. Bill was a stellar student and athlete at LHS, graduating in 1968. He continued his leadership at Lapeer Schools in athletics and facilities, was an avid traveler and certainly, a gentleman, respected by all who knew him. LHS students may apply through the Common Application and individual applications available in the Counseling Office.
Twenty-five student loans can be issued to LHS/LCHS grads and alum in 2023. File the form on this site or pick up an application from the ASC or HS Counseling Office.
